BK Real Estate was formed as a combined effort of two successful South Jersey Real Estate agents, Ed Barski & Michele Katinsky. They met while working at Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors in 2011. Quickly recognizing their devotion to hard work, client service, and doing what others were unwilling to do to get the job done, a partnership was formed. After just 12 months of creating raving fans out of every client they worked with, it was decided to venture out on their own and form a company dedicated to utilizing technology, efficientcy, and outside the box thinking to insure only the best customer and client experience. Created at the bottom of one of the most challenging real estate markets in history, BK Real Estate, continues to help buyers and sellers by thinking and working differently.
Ed is the broker/owner of BK Real Estate. He went to Rowan University for Business from 1998-2002. In 2002, at the age of 22, he started his first company which became a successful and well know pizza/sandwich restaurant known as Philly's Phatties of Oaklyn which continues on today. Ed entered real estate as an investor in 2006 with the purchase of his first investment property. After experiencing a profitable run in 2007, he sold the restaurant and entered real estate full time working for Main Street Realty where he quickly built his real estate business. He would go on to become one of South Jersey's most respected and knowledgeable real estate agents, winning numerous awards and having numerous professional articles published. In May of 2010 he began his career with Prudential Fox & Roach earning an opportunity to attend their leadership training academy. He worked there happily until February of 2012 when Barski-Katinsky Real Estate was founded.
Michele Katinsky is an owner/broker associate of BK Real Estate. She is a licensed Realtor in NJ & PA. She specializes in representing clients in the purchase and sale of single-family residences and income property all over South Jersey. She truly loves this area and prides herself on her knowledge of current transactions, school districts, neighborhood information, and related services, including mortgage, insurance and inspection information.
